Private Investigator Memberships & Accreditation

Bs102000 Investigative Services Accreditation.

Dukeries Detective Agency Limited are pleased to announce in September 2014 we achieved the BS102000 Investigative Services Accreditation. The standard has been complied by exports in the private investigation and security industry with high demands of licensing of our sector in wake of the Leveson report.

To achieve the BS102000 Accreditation Dukeries had to undergo numerous checks to ensure that the business was ran in an ethical manor, some of the things we had to demonstrate were;

Data protection – We had to prove that we dispose of documentation and store clients details in an appropriate manor and ensure all documentation was in place to prove so.

Employees – All our employees had to undergo CRB checks and trained to the highest ability aswel as be re-interviewed. All our employees now carry ID cards.

PC Protection & security – All our computers and wireless devices have had to be upgraded and now contain a strong password that is changed every 6 months.

Memberships – The managing director has to be a member of The Association of British Investigators.

We have had to under numerous checks and we will be happy to demonstrate all our policies and procedures upon request. Our next annual inspection is due in September 2015.

The reason we achieved the accreditation is that we believe our clients need the peace of mind when instructing a private investigation company and we feel that by achieving the BS102000 we demonstrate our professional work ethic and quality of service before the instruction has been made.

The Association of British Investigators

Our Managing Director and Business Development Manager are full Members of The Association of British Investigators. The association is endorsed by the law society and works closely with the security sector (SIA) to ensure when licensing comes into force that it is presented in the correct manor.

The ABI holds annually seminars and training days throughout the United Kingdom and the members offer high quality support to all involved and it is a pleasure to have two full time employees part of this outstanding association.

To gain entry to The ABI each applicant has to undergo certain checks, attend an interview and achieve The Level 3 Award For Private Investigators.
