We have supplied locus reports in respect of different types of incident, including road traffic accidents, health and safety accidents, personal injury accidents, serious assaults and allegations of rape.
We provide this service to solicitors, claims companies and insurance companies throughout the United Kingdom.
In addition to plans and detailed descriptions of the locus, we also provide indexed photograph albums and, where applicable, a DVD of video footage; we also supply the agent’s statement in which he includes the exhibiting of any article produced.
We commonly use digital photography, and a CD including the original images is supplied to the client; we can, however, where requested, use 35mm film photography. In such a case, we will store the negatives for later production, should they be required.
Where requested, we will also try to gather any evidence to support the views of our client; we can also try to establish witnesses who may not already have come forward, where this is practicable.
In respect of road accidents, we will aim to show on the plan (or a version of the plan), all road markings, the positions from which the photographs were taken – and their direction of view, and the direction of travel of vehicles involved in the accident.
Our Agents who prepare locus reports are ex-police officers and, as such, are well experienced in the preparation of locus reports and the taking of statements.
